PORTS OF ENTRY
Curacao has limited but precious anchorage spots varying from secluded bays to white sandy beaches. To anchor outside of a marina, some restrictions apply and depths differ. The same applies for the marinas on the island, depths differ and each offer their own advantages. From calm marinas, away from the hustle and bustle, to centrally located marinas close to the vibrant city centre or marinas with boatyards offering extensive maintenance services. WHY CURACAO
Curacao is ideally located below the hurricane belt. Hurricane season is our busiest season, as many yachts from the upper islands head towards the lesser Caribbean islands. Our island also has one of the deepest harbor entries in the Caribbean, where large superyachts and mega yachts can easily enter. The maximum allowed stay is 2 times 6 months per year and in bonded warehouse status yachts can be stored for an indefinite time period. Curacao also offers a safe and stable political and financial environment. Our island has much to offer with its cosmopolitan mix of cultures and history! The infrastructure is great, public transport is not the best. However, by getting yourself a rental car you can easily visit over 30 beaches in a couple of days. Experience the colonial influences, many sports and cultural activities and a wide choice of restaurants in every price range and lots of happy hours at the many bars are awaiting you.
